SCM Health Solutions Appoints Jennifer Foster, BA, MBA, PMP as Chief Operating Officer

MISSISSAUGA – SCM Health Solutions, a market leader in Independent Medical Evaluations and related services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Foster, BA, MBA, PMP, as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective September 6th, 2016.

In her position as Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Foster works closely with SCM Health Solutions’ leadership and management teams across the country. Guided by SCM Health Solutions’ commitment to a quality customer experience, Ms. Foster delivers on that promise by supporting the ongoing development of people, processes, and technology in all aspects of SCM Health Solutions’ operations.

“My role is to ensure that we are not only the most recommended provider of medical evaluations, but a responsive partner,” says Ms. Foster. “We are committed to providing the highest quality product in the most time sensitive way. We understand that the service we provide is essential to our customers’ decision making and in our business that means a superior service delivered on time with a focus on the right assessment for the right medical disposition.”

A seasoned operational leader who is both Six-Sigma Black Belt and LEAN certified, Ms. Foster gained extensive expertise from her work in a variety of roles. She previously held the position of Interim Chief Operating Officer for Hannam Fertility Centre, served as Executive Director, Client Experience and Outcomes for Toronto Central Community Care Access Centre, and was Executive Director, Patient Safety, Quality, Risk & Medical Ethics for Kingston General Hospital. Her work in the medical services industry began with Johnson & Johnson Medical Products, where she held the position as Vice President, Operations, and Chief Information Officer. Ms. Foster continues to provide leadership training and executive coaching as a member of the Adjunct Faculty of the Leadership Program at St. Lawrence College.

In addition to Ms. Foster’s experience in the medical field, she has also worked with S.i Systems Ltd. as Vice President of Operations and Royal LePage Real Estate Services Ltd. as Vice President, Strategic Business Services. She holds her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario, her Bachelor of Communications from the University of Calgary, and is a certified Project Management Professional.
