Senior General Adjuster Myron Zaharia Strengthens ClaimsPro Presence in British Columbia

ClaimsPro, Canada’s largest independent loss adjusting organization, is pleased to announce that Senior General Adjuster Myron Zaharia has relocated to the Lower Mainland to better serve clients in the region as part of ClaimsPro’s Specialty Risk Division (SRD). Mr. Zaharia was previously based in Edmonton, where he handled claims throughout Northern Alberta, and will now be based out of our Burnaby, British Columbia office. Mr. Zaharia has extensive and comprehensive experience as a Liability Adjuster for several prominent firms in British Columbia and Alberta, ideally suiting him for the Specialty Risk Division‘s complex portfolio of commercial losses.

SRD is ClaimsPro’s national team of commercial loss professionals. The division is comprised of Senior General Adjusters and Executive General Adjusters—highly experienced individuals who possess professional backgrounds in law, engineering, and insurance. The SRD handles a portfolio of commercial losses across Canada and internationally, coordinating teams of professionals and overseeing all aspects of the claim until resolution. Mr. Zaharia’s return to the B.C. offices exemplifies SRD’s commitment to strengthening specialty liability capabilities in the Lower Mainland as part of their mission to provide enhanced coverage for clients nationwide.

Myron has more than ten years’ experience in the insurance services industry. He specializes in Policy and Coverage Analysis, Liability Determination, and Loss Quantification. Prior to his work in the industry, he held positions in both the Customer Service and Hospitality industries that helped him build and strengthen client relations. He holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Liverpool, and more recently obtained his Certificate in Risk Management (CRM) from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Extension. He is currently pursuing his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
