Two firefighters are in hospital after being hurt while fighting a brush fire northeast of Edmonton.
The men were hurt in two separate areas of a brush fire in Lamont County.
County communications co-ordinator Heather Atkinson says the firefighters are in stable condition in hospitals in Lamont and Edmonton hospital.
She says the fire started Monday and has burned between 31 and 38 square kilometres.
Atkinson says two homes and more than a dozen outbuildings have been destroyed.
There is no mandatory evacuation and no state of emergency, but are telling residents to be prepared to evacuate if required.
