ACE Canada appoints Terri Mitchell as vice president, COO

ACE Canada, the Canadian based operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, has appointed Terri Mitchell as executive vice president and chief operations officer of ACE Canada’s Life, Accident and Health Group.
Mitchell joined ACE Canada in 2004 as vice president and has held several senior management positions within the organization. In her new role, she will report jointly to Karen Barkley, the president and CEO of ACE Canada, and Joe Vasquez, the president of ACE USA Accident & Health.
“This promotion reflects the significant contribution Terri has made to ACE Canada,” Barkley said in a press release. “Since joining ACE, Terri has developed ACE Canada’s Life, Accident & Health Group as an innovative provider of life and accident and health products and services.”
“Terri is ideally suited to driving ACE Canada’s Life, Accident & Health Group’s continued success,” said Vasquez. Terri’s leadership, product expertise and in-depth market knowledge will serve her well in this new role.”
Mitchell’s insurance career spans over 25 years. Prior to joining ACE, she held several senior management positions within the life and accident and health insurance industry.
