American International Group, Inc. (AIG) has renamed its Domestic General Insurance operations the AIG Property Casualty Group, and has shuffled a number of executive positions.
“These organizational changes will contribute substantially to an improved operating environment, provide greater results in our Deliver the Firm initiative and a better customer service framework for our property and casualty customers in the United States and Canada,” said Martin J. Sullivan, AIG president and CEO.
AIG executive VP Kristian P. Moor has been named president and CEO of the new AIG Property Casualty Group, a company release says.
Reporting to Moor will be Kevin Kelley and John Q. Doyle.
Kelley, chairman and CEO of AIG’s Lexington Insurance Company, has been named executive vice president of the new group. He will continue to serve as the head of Lexington, an AIG release says.
Doyle, president and CEO of AIG Executive Liability and AIG’s American Home Assurance Company, has been appointed executive vice president of the AIG Property Casualty Group. He will be responsible for overseeing all of the AIG domestic commercial insurance business.
Michael W. Smith has been named president of AIG Executive Liability and will report to Doyle. He was formerly president of AIG Financial Lines Claims.
Louis P. Iglesias has been appointed chairman and CEO of AIG Risk Management Group, also reporting to Doyle. Under Iglesias the group will now include AIG Specialty Workers’ Compensation.
