More than 2 million votes have resulted in 30 finalists for the 2011 Aviva Community Fund competition.
The 30 finalists and a description of their projects can be viewed at:

This year, Aviva Canada has provided $1 million in donations to support community initiatives across the country. This is the third year of the Aviva Community Fund.
The 30 finalist ideas are now in the hands of a panel of impartial judges including Canada AM anchor Jeff Hutcheson, Volunteer Canada president and CEO Ruth MacKenzie and Free The Children co-founder Craig Kielburger.
The judges will review the ideas to decide which projects will receive funding. Winners will be announced Jan. 25, 2012.
Starting today, the finalists’ ideas with associated charities will have their “vote now” button replaced with a “donate now” button, so the ideas can continue to collect donations from supporters.
