Rhodes & Williams Insurance Brokers has created a mobile app, My Pocket Insurance Broker, which provides information to help insured at the scene of an accident.
The application is designed for Android and iPhones. In addition to information to help an insured get in touch with a Rhodes & Williams insurance broker, the app has a built-in ability to access the device camera and store and send photos, so the insured can capture what has happened.
The app allows clients of Ottawa-based Rhodes & Williams to send information to their broker. Non-clients may still use the app for recording events at the time of an accident and keeping track of policy information in a handy spot. Consumers are able to access download locations for the app at www.mypocketinsurancebroker.com.
“There may be others out there that I have not seen, but to my knowledge, this is the first iPhone and android app available from an independent insurance broker in Canada that provides clients with this service,” says Cory Young, chief operating with Rhodes & Williams Insurance Brokers.
