Gore Mutual donates additional funds to the United Way

Gore Mutual Insurance Company is donating an additional $50,000 to the United Way of Cambridge and North Dumfries.
Gore learned that the United Way was facing a significant shortfall in its 2011 campaign and upped its donation to help fill the void.
This additional donation brings the company’s 2011 United Way contribution to more than $130,000.
“Gore Mutual cares deeply about this community,” says Gore Mutual president and CEO Kevin McNeil. “Along with our corporate donation, our employees have showed their spirit to give by raising 18% more than last year in our employee United Way campaign.”
The United Way of Cambridge and North Dumfries is still about $250,000 short of their $2.74-million goal.
