IBAO applauds new technology allowing PDF Dec pages to be downloaded as part of CSIO standards

The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) has publicly recognized the recent introduction by Custom Software Solutions Inc. (CSSI) of new technology that enables PDF Dec pages to be accepted as part of the Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) download standards.
The new innovation allows insurance companies and brokers to transmit documents through an “Electronic Document Transfer” (EDocs) process seamlessly and according to CSIO standards.
“The biggest impact with regard to saving time and eliminating paper is the ability to download the Dec page,” says Scott Andrew, president and CEO of CSSI. “CSSI is pleased to say that we are capable of handling EDocs and prepared to work with any of our partner insurance companies to provide this service for their brokers.”
The IBAO is encouraging insurance brokers to share information about the EDoc process with insurance companies. “This new service gives insurance companies and brokers the ability to send information electronically, saving large amounts of time, which will allow brokers more time to spend with clients,” said IBAO CEO Randy Carroll.
