ICBC and its employees raised more than $1 million for the United Way and other registered charities, making the 2010 campaign the insurer’s most generous ever.
This year, employees donated more than $800,000. In addition, ICBC gifted $200,000 through the corporation’s new matching funds program for United Way to support initiatives for school-aged children and seniors.
The matching funds program allowed ICBC employees to invest more than $500,000 in programs designed to improve the quality of life for both kids and seniors.
