Insurance Council of B.C. appoints new voting member

The Insurance Council of British Columbia has appointed Dr. Eric Yung as a layperson representative voting member.
Yung holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia. He holds his Doctorate in Molecular Genetics from the Albert Einstein College.
Yung is an independent researcher with 15 years’ experience in leading labs in both the United States and Canada, specializing in applications of HIV/AIDS research, gene therapy and stem cell biology.
He currently works as a research fellow at Terry Fox Laboratories with the B.C. Cancer Agency.
