New coverage enhances coverage to standard property policies

Chesterfield Canada Inc., a specialist independent wholesale broker, has launched home appliance and systems warranty covers.
The new products serve as endorsements to standard buildings and contents policies. It’s designed to ease the worries surrounding moving into a newly purchased property, and the potential burden of suffering a breakdown or failure of large appliances.
“We wanted to offer our partners in the homeowner markets a product that not only enhances the high standard of service they already offer, but also takes away the nuisance factor that a new home purchase can sometimes bring,” said Gary Hirst, director of marketing at the Chesterfield Group.
“Buying property is always worrisome . . . to then have a major appliance or system failure – when you have just stepped over the threshold – can take the shine off your new home.”
Chesterfield Canada offers 90-day, 180-day and 365-day warranty policies.
