The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions will be launching a new website next Monday, as part of the federal government’s overall approach to revamping online services.
A preview of the new website is available on the current OSFI site, which also includes information about bookmarks and where to find important information
According to OSFI, the new site features improved search function, allowing for finding documents more quickly. Forms and deadlines for filing returns will remain the same, the regulator noted.
OSFI will also be launched a new email notification system to alert website subscribers when new material relevant to their interests has been added to the site, it said.
The new, more visually-appealing site has a similar look and feel to other Government of Canada websites that have been revamped recently, such as Environment Canada.
The Treasury Board of Canada website also lays out the government’s standards for its online presence, including having its new websites optimized for mobile devices.
