The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) has announced that Portage La Prairie Mutual Insurance has maintained its support of the Broker Identity Program at the Full Partner level.
Launched 24 years ago, Broker Identity Program a branding campaign for over 35,000 insurance brokers. The program’s centrepiece is the BIP symbol known as the BIPPER, which IBAC says represents the value that insurance brokers bring their clients including choice, coverage, security and peace of mind. The purpose is to raise awareness of the value of the insurance broker distribution network.
“Portage Mutual is proud to be a Full partner in supporting the BIP program,” noted John G. Mitchell, the company’s president and CEO. “IBAC does great work in the education and promotion of the value that independent insurance brokers provide to consumers. We applaud IBAC for their protection of consumer interests and the value independent insurance brokers provide our company.”
“We are delighted that Portage La Prairie Mutual Insurance is remaining a Full Partner,” added Dan Danyluk, IBAC’s CEO. “Our branding program continues to showcase that brokers offer the best advice to Canadians and Portage La Prairie Mutual Insurance understands it.”
