Quebec-based insurance rate comparison site expands to Ontario

Quebec-based general and personal insurance comparison site Clicassure.com has expanded to the Ontario market, operating as ClickInsurance.ca.

The site operating in Quebec since 2007 currently has more than 100 partners, including brokers, agents and direct insurers.

Clicassure.com generates roughly 4,000 quote requests per week, the company says. Those requests are then shared with a maximum of three partners who prepare quotes and follow up with customers through the site.

A similar model will be brought to Ontario, the company said Tuesday. Gradually, it plans to expand across Canada.

The company says it is now seeking partners for its Ontario operation, and says it can offer:

• A very competitive price per lead
• Realistic and valuable billing
• Only the highest request is billed if the same consumer completes multiple request
• Additional request made within 30 days will not be billed
• Predetermined weekly and daily volumes for effective planning of resources
• Partners become owners of the leads received and are free to contact the consumers year after year
• The clients obtained by the partners will not be re-solicited by Clicassure/ClickInsurance
• Automobile leads are instantly transferred to our partners’ rating systems (Applied Systems – Compu-Quote integration and CSIO EDI compliance)
