RMS rolls out iClarify to Quebec market

Risk Management Services Inc. (RMS) has launched iClarify services throughout Quebec.
iClarify is a validation tool providing brokers and insurers with residential property intelligence.
More than 25 brokerages with portfolio representation across Quebec took part in pilot testing, which ran from Nov. 2010 through the first three quarters of 2011.
As a result of the provincial-wide rollout, more than 500 Quebec-based brokerages have access to the service.
“The role of brokers is not to provide a value for a house, but rather to give proper advice to their clients,” said Catherine Mainguy, president of the Regroupement des cabinets de courtage d’assurance d’Quebec (RCCAQ). “In this regard, the tool to which they now have access provides an additional advantage to guide their clients in relation with the insurable value of their home.”
