RRJ Insurance acquires G.B. Cragg Insurance Broker

RRJ Insurance Ltd. announced it has acquired Orillia, Ont.-based G.B. Cragg Insurance Broker Ltd.

G.B. Cragg, which was established in 1953, offers personal insurance, including auto, homeowner, tenant, liability and watercraft. Its commercial products include farm, bonds, auto, events and sports, directors’ and officers’ liability and errors and omissions. 

RRJ owns Toronto-based KRG Insurance. Another RRJ subsidiary is Frost Whetter Oaklin, which is based in Lindsay, Ont. and provides commercial services including property, commercial auto, general liability, employment practices liability, equipment breakdown and directors’ and officers’ liability.

RRJ’s Oshawa, Ont. subsidiary is Schofield-Aker, whose products include personal property and auto. Its commercial lines include auto, liability, pollution/environmental, marine, bonding and party alcohol liability.
