Travelers adds new members to its management team

Travelers Canada has added Ross Betteridge, Kevin Pinto and Jean-Pierre Gagnon to its management team.
Betteridge has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer and will be responsible for strategy, finance, actuarial, information technology and communications and branding.
Betteridge joined the company as chief financial officer in May of 2010 after holding a number of executive roles at Aviva Canada.
Pinto has been appointed to lead the company’s business insurance segment as senior vice president of business insurance.
Pinto most recently served as senior vice president and chief underwriting officer at Zurich Canada.
Gagnon has joined the company as vice president and chief actuary.
Gagnon joined the company in September 2010 after serving as director, pricing, product and risk management at CAA Insurance.
