Insurance Data Processing Inc. (IDP), a property and casualty management system company in the United States, has released two technology services – a Web site service and a new agent portal – tailored to help small and mid-sized insurance companies compete against their larger competitors.
The InsuraSphere Web site is to be introduced in the United States in June 2011. InsuraSphere Web sites are designed to incorporate every interactive process an insurance company needs for its business, including lead capture, quoting, live chat, blogging, videos, flash and news feeds.
IDP will also socialize a site with Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and other accounts that keep insurance businesses visible and active in social media.
“IDP’s new InsuraSphere Web site service gives insurance businesses that have limited funding for IT programs a way to own a branded online presence equal to that of much larger insurers,” according to IDP President & CEO Bob Blitshtein.
IDP is also offering a new agent portal.
The service, called the InsuraSphere Agent Portal, provides users with real-time quoting, 24/7 agent access, a customized portal environment and a host of other functions. The portal integrates with virtually any back office, requires no upfront licensing fee and is available on a tiered pricing scale.
System functionality includes real-time quoting for any personal and commercial line of business, policy inquiry and download, claim inquiry and reporting, billing and payment inquiry, payment processing, commission and operational reports.
