Waterloo Region Record awards The Economical for community stewardship

The Economical Insurance Group (TEIG) has been named Gold Winner of the 2010 Waterloo Region Record Readers’ Select Award in the category of best insurance company.
The annual awards event recognizes Waterloo Region businesses that consistently provide excellence in client service while maintaining a sustained commitment to community stewardship.
“This recognition underlines the incredible work our staff members have done to create a culture of teamwork, collaboration, service excellence and community stewardship at TEIG,” said the organization’s incoming president and CEO Kathy Mabe.
“As a mutual insurance company, and as stewards of the communities we serve, these values have and will always drive our organization’s success.”
TEIG will celebrate its 140th anniversary in 2011.
