Western Financial acquires Border Bannatyne Insurance

Western Financial Group has acquired Saskatchewan-based Border Bannatyne Insurance.
The Estevan, Saskatchewan-based brokerage has been in operation since 1920 and will now operate as a Western Financial Group office with the same local staff.
“This is another great addition to our network of offices,” said Lana Wood, president of Western Financial Group (Network) Inc. “Having an office in the City of Estevan, a population of more than 10,000, will give us the opportunity to expand our customer base in southern Saskatchewan and also allows us to broaden our commercial insurance portfolio as Estevan boasts some of the province’s leading oil, mining and power generation industries.”
