Organizers of the 2007 Ontario General Insurance Hockey Tournament are calling for participants and sponsors.
Last year’s tournament raised more than $35,000 for the Big Brothers Big Sisters, Kitchener-Waterloo area.
This year organizers will be donating proceeds to local charities and Camp McGovern a summer camp for children in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
“With over 550 industry participants and over 40 teams it is one of the largest insurance events of the year,” says organizer Bill Bradley.
Players will hit the ice at the Fort Erie Leisureplex on April 20 to 22.

A person’s astrological sign serves as a predictor for whether or not they are likely to get into a car accident, says a new study.
The study ranks astrological signs based on North American driving data, gathered by InsuranceHotline.com’s online quoting service over the last six years.
Stanford University professor Keyvan Mohajer collated the data from 100,000 drivers to discover that Libras are the most likely to be involved in an accident and Pisces are the most likely to be ticketed.
