Randy Carroll has been appointed CEO of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO). With more than 20 years of experience in insurance brokerage operations, Carroll has held the position of chief operating officer of the IBAO since April 2005. Over the past two years, Randy has earned the respect of many industry leaders, and the board of directors is proud of the accomplishments the association has achieved under his leadership, says an IBAO release.

The Insurance Brokers of Ontario (IBAO) announced that brokers now have the ability to integrate RSMeans CostWorks Valuator replacement cost valuations with Compu-Quotes habitational underwriting and rating application. The bi-directional transfer of data between the Means CostWorks Valuator a web-based tool for calculating the current replacement cost of residential properties and Compu-Quotess PropertyRater is, another example of the IBAO commitment to serving the interests of the more than 10,000 independent insurance brokers across Canada, said an IBAO release. The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario has worked closely with RSMeans in their development of the Canadian marketplace CostWorks Valuator product, Randy Carroll, IBAOs CEO, said in a statement. The product was designed cooperatively with the interest of the Canadian insurance broker in mind.
