We are very proud to be a part of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, said Gordon Henderson, senior vice-president, insurance at BMO Financial Group.
This tournament is going to be something special, drawing a wide audience from across Canada and around the world. Our participation gives us the chance to build exposure and brand recognition for BMO Insurance and establish ourselves as a strong supporter of soccer in Canada.
Starting June 30 and lasting just over three weeks, the FIFA U-20 World Cup Canada 2007 will feature some of the best young soccer players in the world. Six major Canadian cities will host 24 countries playing 52 matches, with the championship final scheduled to be held in Toronto.
BMO Insurances sponsorship is in addition to its partnerships with Toronto FC, the Vancouver Whitecaps and the Canadian Soccer Association.

R&SA is proud to continue as a full partner and founding sponsor of the Broker Identity Program, said Rowan Saunders, president and CEO of Royal & SunAlliance Canada. We fully support and encourage brokers to boldly communicate the valuable advice, choice and coverage that they provide Canadians each and every day, added Saunders.
IBAC CEO Dan Danyluk added: We are pleased that an insurer with roots in Canada since 1845 stands by the message being delivered every day to legislators and regulators when issues of importance to the industry come up. R&SA is a valuable partner to brokers.
