Zurich has created a mergers and acquisitions (M&A) unit designed to offer customized products and services to help companies manage M&A transaction-related risks.
The unit is part of Zurichs Global Corporate business division and currently fully operational in the U.S.worldwide capabilities will be implemented by 2007 Q4.
With the creation of the unit, Zurich is the only insurer to offer a fully integrated and solely dedicated team of professionals with experience in a full range of insurance products and all aspects of the M&A process, Mario Vitale, CEO, Zurich Global Corporate in North America, said in a release.

Anastassia Plitman has been appointed to vice president, internal audit and compliance of Kingsway Financial Services Inc.
She brings with her more than 19 yeas of experience in risk management, internal audit and compliance, according to a release.
I am pleased to welcome Anastassia to our executive team, Bill Star, president and CEO at Kingsway Financial Services Inc., said in a release. Anastassia joins us, having gained extensive experience in both large Canadian services organizations as well having spent the last two years in a consulting practice. I am confident that we will benefit from her experience and expertise in internal audit and risk management.
