In support of Mike Yang, a long-time insurance industry figure who is returning home following a serious illness, two fundraising events are planned. On Thursday, September 23 from 5-7 pm, Mike will be at the Windsor Arms Hotel at 18 Thomas St. in Toronto to greet friends, and the reception will include a silent auction. Also, on October 7 at 5-8 pm at the Armenian Community Centre at Victoria Park & 401 in Toronto, Mike will again greet friends with donations being accepted at the door. The funds raised from these events will help with expenses related to Mike’s return home from the hospital, including the purchase of a hand-controlled vehicle to aid his mobility.
