The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada announced its board of directors and executive committee for 2007-2008 at its annual general meeting in Whistler, B.C.
The executive committee is comprised of: Larry Kozakevich, chairman; Danny Craig, president; Peter Fredericks, president-elect; Justin MacGregor, vice-president; and Andrew Walker, vice-president.
The national directors are as follows: Fraser Lyle, British Columbia, Ralph Zutter Jr., Alberta; George Wright, Saskatchewan; Irwin Kumka, Manitoba; Steve Wagler, Ontario; Peter McCann, Toronto Insurance Conference; Claude Brosseau, Quebec; Denis Daigle, New Brunswick; Garry Stack, Nova Scotia; Bob Dunne, Newfoundland and Labrador; and Karen Doiron, Prince Edward Island.

Judge Jacques-J Levesque of the Superior Court (Criminal and Penal Division) in the district of Quebec City has dismissed the appeal filed by Regis Cloutier, says an Autorit des Marchs Financiers (AMF) release.
Cloutier appealed a decision handed down by the Court of Quebec that found him guilty of 25 charges of acting as a damage insurance representative without being registered with the AMF between March 1, 2004 and February 13, 2005, the AMF statement says.
Cloutier was ordered to pay a fine of $12,500.
