Darrell Blenus has been appointed president of Insurance Premium Financing.
The appointment became effective in August 2007, the board of directors announced.
Blenus was previously the vice president of sales and marketing.
The company has also launched an upgraded commercial financing program with more competitive rates, a company press release announced.
The efficient commercial quote request system not only offers competitive finance options, but personal follow up and instant contract generation with the click of the mouse, the company said in the release.

CARSTAR Collision Repair Centres and the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are asking Halloween revelers to help in the fight against cystic fibrosis.
Throughout the month of October, FrightLites (non-toxic glow sticks), which come in five different colours for Cdn$3 each, are available at CARSTAR Collision Repair Centres in Ontario and many CCFF chapters and fundraising events.
This is the eighth year that CARSTAR owners and staff are selling FrightLites and continuing the fight against cystic fibrosis.
The FrightLites also play a role in Halloween safety.
Studies show that children under 14 are up to four times more likely to be hit by a car and injured while walking on Halloween night than on any other night of the year, the release reports.
