Allstate Insurance Company of Canada and Green Solutions North America Inc. have teamed up to donate office furniture to the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston and Area.
Green Solutions North America Inc.’s mission is to connect deserving organizations that are in need of furniture and/or IT equipment, such as the Boys and Girls Club, with companies like Allstate, which have redundant corporate assets including desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and computer equipment.
If items cannot be redistributed, Green Solutions recycles the material using best environmental practices, according to a release.
Allstate’s partnership with Green Solutions has resulted in over 53 tonnes of redundant assets being diverted from landfill sites.
