Brokers can now download quotations from ING Insurance Company of Canada’s Web quoting tool directly into Policy Works.
With the release of integrated download functionality, ING and Policy Works have announced the launch of what they call the next phase in commercial data exchange.
Brokers will be able to download quotations into Policy Works regardless of how a quote was submitted to ING (whether by phone, computer or fax). This will offer faster turnaround time for quotes, reduced duplicate entry and enhanced customer service, ING notes in a release.

Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) has donated Cdn$15,000 to the Safe Grad program at local high schools in Halifax.
IBC presented a cheque to representatives from the Halifax Regional School board on May 29.
Funds raised through Operation Red Nose in Halifax totalled $6,671.25. IBC made a commitment to match those funds but went beyond its initial promise.
“It simply makes sense that the proceeds from an anti-drinking-and-driving campaign be donated to a program that encourages young adults to make responsible decisions,” Bill Adams, acting vice-president of the Atlantic region for IBC, said in a release.
