FirstOnSite Restoration L.P. has acquired Ezi-Way Cleaning Services Ltd. of Charlottetown, P.E.I and Ezi-Way Disaster Kleenup (Moncton) Ltd. of Moncton, N.B.
“With this acquisition we have considerably strengthened our position in the Maritimes,” said Ian Milne, FirstOnSite’s CEO. The new acquisitions will become part of FirstOnSite’s Atlantic division based in Halifax, he added.
Including the newly acquired operations, FirstOnSite now has more than 875 direct employees in 28 cities and towns across Canada, generating more than Cdn$160 million in annual revenue, a company release says.
Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Alan Gallagher has joined Winmar Ottawa’s team as a manager/estimator.
Gallagher is a chartered insurance professional with the Insurance Institute of Canada and the past president of the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association, a Winmar release says.
“Since 1989, Alan’s diverse background as an insurance broker, claims adjuster, and independent adjuster arms him with the common sense and skills necessary to ensure good communications between insurers, insureds and everyone in between in the related service industry,” the release continues.
“As such, Alan brings a wealth of knowledge to the table.”
