Marsh Canada Limited and XN Risk have jointly announced the launch of a program that combines comprehensive directors and officers liability (D&O) protection with an insured private health care treatment plan.
The plan provides key directors and officers with priority access to leading health care treatment.
The program is the first executive risk insurance product of its kind to be offered to Canadian public corporations. It is intended to provide the benefits of a combined property and casualty and living benefits insurance product, the company reports in a release.
The new program, known as Director LifelineSM, is available at Marsh. It is underwritten by XN Risk and insured through certain underwriters at Lloyd’s of London.

Aon eSolutions has launched a version of its browser-based insurance system, iVOSc, geared specifically for property and casualty insurance companies.
The iVOSc Carrier Edition offers three core modules:
iVOSc Policy Administration Module offers a wide array of system capabilities that assist insurance companies in processing and administering policies, as well as underwriting and rating coverage.
iVOSc Claims Management Module is designed to manage a complex claims operation with sophisticated scheduling, automation and workflow tools.
iVOSc Billing Module represents a complete billing solution, providing a full range of capabilities for both customer and producer billing needs.
