The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) has announced it is renewing its sponsorship agreement with professional golfer Richard Scott.
The 25-year-old Kingsville, Ontario native went professional in2006 after winning three Canadian Men’s Amateur Golf Championships and becoming only the sixth player in more than 100 years to win three titles.
Scott tied for 12th spot during the first stage of the PGA Qualifying School held in McKinney, Texas. He just missed the cut for the final round finishing with 8-under 280 in a tie for 21st — one spot shy of qualifying.
“We are thrilled to continue this great partnership,” said IBAO CEO Randy Carroll. “Richard has joined our brokers at many charitable events and continues to support our ongoing partnership with OSAID. He’s a wonderful role model for students across the province and we wish him great success this season.”
Scott has been very involved in IBAO’s partnership with Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving (OSAID) where he has been an OSAID spokesperson.

Innovation Property announced it has finalized an agreement for structured loss and mitigation services with Paul Davis Restoration.
The formalized partnership expands Innovation Property’s network to over 500 contracting companies nationwide.
“By integrating our technology with PDR services, we can help insurance clients improve estimate accuracy and customer satisfaction with minimal IT investment or workflow changes,” Rob Hansen, vice president of Innovation Property, said in a release.
