The Generation Group, an integrated communication and technology company headquartered in Montreal, has just acquired the exclusive distribution rights in North America and China for a Customer Experience Management (CEM) solution created by Boxalino, a Swiss company, using technologies driven by artificial intelligence.
For this initiative, a new Canadian company was created, named Guidyu, the Generation Group says in a press release.
Guidyu is the culmination of a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in the field of communication, CEM and technology. Its goal is to form partnerships with interested parties in the online retail market, contact centers, banks, insurance institutions, as well as the public sector.
“With offices in Beijing, Vancouver and Montreal, Guidyu’s goal is to become the international standard in CEM for customer service and support, based on an intelligent platform that organically enhances and enriches customer experiences and data in real time,” the press release notes. ”Guidyu will enable companies to significantly increase their sales and drastically reduce their costs of customer support by optimizing the customer experience on the Web while facilitating support access to the right agent if necessary,” said Guidyu CEO Benoit L’Archevêque.
The new technology’s search/guidance engine piggybacks on all types of Web sites and portals, permitting a new standard of search experience that guides the consumer to quickly and easily find what they are looking for.

SCM Insurance Services Inc. and CEO Larry Shumka have received the ‘Company of the Year’ award from the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC).
“This is a tremendous honour,” said Shumka “To receive this award from my peers, many of whom have outstanding accomplishments and achievements themselves, means a lot to me and to all of the employees of SCM.”
Owned by the City of Edmonton, EEDC is a unique, autonomous company responsible for marketing Greater Edmonton’s economic opportunities to the world.
