CEP Forensic Engineering Inc. an engineering company based in Quebec, has expanded into the Toronto market.
The new Toronto office will be headed up by Michael Fulcher, an electrical engineer with 30 years of experience in power equipment maintenance and operations at both Hydro One and Ontario Power Generation (OPG).
Fulcher has experience in the forensic field, specializing in large industrial losses, utility claims and product liability.
To start, the new office will focus on electrical-related losses, with support in other engineering fields being supplied from Quebec offices as required.
Eventually, the Toronto office is intended to become self-sufficient in all the major forensic fields, CEP said in a release.

Catastrophe Response Unit (CRU) is offering Canadian adjusters storm-training courses, including Xactimate, catastrophe claims guidelines, best practices and scoping techniques.
Upcoming courses will be held in Calgary Feb. 26 to 28, 2010 and in Halifax in March.
