Canadian Underwriter and Swiss Re team up for webinar on Canadian risk landscape

Canadian Underwriter and Swiss Re have teamed up to host a live webinar, entitled the Changing Canadian Risk Landscape, reflecting on natural hazards throughout the country and what Canada can expect for the future. 

The free webinar, scheduled for Feb. 7 at 12 p.m. EST, will be hosted by Andrew Castaldi, senior vice president and Head of Cat Perils Americas Hub at Swiss Re. Castaldi leads a team of natural hazard experts including physical scientists, engineers, and insurance professionals dedicated to the understanding and quantification of potential loss due to naturally occurring hazards throughout the Americas.

The approximately one hour webinar will look at what Canada can expect in terms of natural hazards and how that compares to the global market, as well as whether we are prepared financially and in terms of policy and coverage. The webinar will cover hazards such as earthquakes in Quebec and British Columbia, hail and tornado, flood, tsunami, brush fire and storms. 

A question and answer period will follow at the end of the presentation.
