In the January issue of Canadian Underwriter, an error was made regarding Kingsway General Insurance Co. Kingsway does write business in Alberta. In a statement, the company notes, “Kingsway General remains active and committed to the Alberta marketplace. Although Kingsway is not happy with the current state of auto reforms in the province, we believe the Alberta Government will work to correct the errors made through reforms resulting in bad drivers getting the largest price break.” CU apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this error.
