Frank Cowan Company launches new risk management website

Frank Cowan Company has launched a new risk management website called the Risk Management Centre of Excellence.

The centre is intended to be a resource helping municipalities prevent incidents before they occur. By identifying risks early, municipalities are able to take corrective action, mitigate loss and save money.

The centre is available to everyone, although the bulk of content in the resource library is password protected. “This allows us to share the entire library with our clients and broker partners,” says Bryce Sibbick, acting vice president of client services and business development at Frank Cowan Company.

Content on the site is continually updated. “New articles, case studies and templates are added every week,” says Barb Szychta, director of risk management services at Frank Cowan Company. “Clients can also suggest articles and our team will write pieces based on the requests we receive.”

Canadian municipalities are embracing technology as a means of running an efficient organization, Frank Cowan reports. Tablets and mobile devices provide a quick way for information, such as that in the Risk Management Centre of Excellence, to be downloaded and applied instantly.
