A national partnership agreement between Enterprise Rent-A-Car and the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) will result in the promotion of Enterprise Rent-A-Car services to association members nationwide.
Under the agreement, running from September 2006 to December 2007, Enterprise will support the association in its membership advocacy and promotional activities in Canada. In turn, ACTA, which represents the interests of 2,600 travel agencies and close to 19,000 retail travel professionals in Canada, will promote Enterprise Rent-A-Car to consumers and travel agents.
Enterprise says it will work with ACTA to “provide customized rental programs to travel professionals at select times during the duration of the agreement.”
Enterprise Rent-A-Car recently introduced a one-of-a-kind partnership program for travel agencies that provides them with the ability to set their own rate and commission structure based on individual business strategies. Under the program which Enterprise reports it developed in collaboration with the travel industry travel professionals can select from four different rate and commission structures based on which best suits their individual business needs. Under the program agencies can switch their commission and rate structure at any time.
