Allstate Insurance Company of Canada has launched a new product, Your Choice Home, which allows consumers to personalize their home insurance.
Customers will be able to select a home insurance policy that suits their needs and will now be able to add on specialty coverages which are reflective of a customers lifestyle, according to a release.
The additional packages available are: golf; student, ski and snowboard; yard and garden; game and fishing; and identity theft and legal expense coverage.
Insurance has evolved to become more than just about protecting your car or your home, Christianne Dostie, vice president, Allstate, said in a release. Each package developed and designed based on the interests, passions and hobbies of Canadian consumers. Your Choice Home enables consumers to be insured on their terms.

Former Crash Test Dummies drummer, Mitch Dorge, is heading out to Guelph high school as part of his Life Choices campaign aimed at youth.
He teamed up with The Co-operators, because the companys emphasis on youth empowerment meshes well with his positive message, according to a release.
Topics include driving safety, goal setting, safe sex and drug and alcohol awareness, and the presentation is always tailored to meet the needs of the particular school.
