Red River Valley Mutual Insurance, Peace Hills Insurance Company and SGI Canada are maintaining their investment as full partners of the Broker Identity Program (BIP) in 2008.
The cornerstone of the program is the BIP symbol, known as “the BIPPER,” which is designed to capture the value that insurance brokers bring their clients coverage and security.
By investing in the program, companies support the role insurance brokers provide Canadian consumers.
“Over the years, our message has been consistent: Brokers are providing the best advice on insurance matters, and insurers are realizing the advisory role brokers play in dealing with consumers,” Insurance Brokers Association of Canada CEO Dan Danyluk said in a release.

Trisha Rozas has joined Guy Carpenter & Company as chief information officer, effective immediately.
Rozas will focus on the development and deployment of technologies across the organization. She will be responsible for supporting customer service and market differentiation, delivering timely management information and driving cost efficiencies, according to a release.
“Trisha brings a wealth of experience to Guy Carpenter and I am confident that, under her leadership, we will see continued enhancements and improvements across our technology platform,” Charlie Fry, global chief information officer of Guy Carpenter, said in a release. “The importance of the effective use of technology for our industry cannot be overstated. Trisha’s experience and guidance will ensure the continued development and growth of our global information technology strategy.”
