Kathleen Davies has been appointed national account executive with Crawford & Company (Canada).
She brings more than 10 years of sales experience to Crawford.
Reporting to Gary Gardner, vice president, sales and marketing, Davies will specialize in enhancing Crawford’s sales initiatives with Crawford Healthcare Management Services.
“Through her work experience and her volunteer commitments with WICC (Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade) and TIWA (Toronto Insurance Women’s Association), Kathleen has earned a strong reputation within the industry,” John Sharoun, CEO of Crawford & Company (Canada), said in a release. “She will bring enthusiasm, a commitment to excellence, and a dynamic style to her role.”

Portage Mutual Insurance Company is maintaining its investment as a full partner of the Broker Identity Program for 2008, according to the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC).
The cornerstone of the program is the BIP symbol, known as “the BIPPER,” which is designed to capture the value that insurance brokers bring their clients coverage and security.
By investing in the program, Portage Mutual support the role insurance brokers provide Canadian consumers.
“Brokers are an important component of our industry and we are proud to contribute to this important program. We encourage associations and brokers to continue promoting the profession to consumers and politicians alike” Randy Clark, president & CEO of Portage Mutual, said in a release.
