Zycomp partners with Brovada to provide SEMCI solution

Zycomp Systems Limited, a B.C.-based developer of computer management systems for Canadian insurance brokerages, has formed a partnership with Brovada Technologies Inc. to make Nexisys available to all Power Broker users.
Zycomp’s Power Broker product is currently installed in 1,250 office locations, representing in excess of 1,000 brokerages located in every province across Canada.
Nexisys is a single entry, multiple company interface (SEMCI) that provides connections to more than 25 insurance company systems for both personal and commercial lines of business.
“Nexisys’ unique design allows brokers to realize productivity gains as high as 90%,” Zycomp Systems said in a press release. “Non-commission based transactions, such as policy change and inquiries are especially beneficial when processed using Nexisys.
“The average brokerage should be able to realize savings in the tens of thousands of dollars per year.”
Zycomp says its move solidifies the acceptance of Nexisys as the leading SEMCI solution available to brokers throughout Canada. “With the addition of Zycomp Systems, Nexisys is now available to over 60% of the business management system (BMS) market,” Zycomp says in its release. “Nexisys is currently distributed through an existing partnership with Keal Technology and is also made freely available to all other BMS providers throughout Canada.”
