TORONTO, June 18, 2018 /insPRESS/ – 30 Forensic Engineering is pleased to announce that its senior leadership team has acquired the firm and in turn created one of Canada’s largest employee owned and fully-independent multi-disciplinary forensics firms. This transaction is the culmination of planning and collaboration by the dedicated management team who worked together to make this a reality. As part of the evolution and growth strategy of the organization, founding partner Chris Giffin has agreed to sell his interest in the firm to its management and will be resigning his position as CEO and President.
30 Forensic Engineering is also pleased to introduce its new President, Jamie Catania B.E.Sc., M.Eng., P.Eng. Jamie is a firm veteran of 15 years, a respected engineer and mentor who brings over 20 years of experience to the role. He will lead a strong team of experts who are committed to the firm’s vision of being recognized as the industry leader in Forensic Engineering and continue to provide the finest reporting of facts to our valued clients.
According to Chris Giffin, “I am excited about this new chapter in the 30 Forensic Engineering story and I feel confident and proud to be leaving the business in the hands of leaders who have been instrumental in creating the firm it is today. The success of 30 Forensic Engineering has been built on a foundation of independence, depth and breadth of expertise, industry leading mentorship and applying a profound dedication to unbiased forensics and to the needs of our client partners. With the new ownership structure in place and the broadening of employee ownership, the firm will continue to attract the very best experts. As I announced to the firm in mid 2017; after 16 wonderful years of working with the finest in the Forensic Engineering business, it is time for me to pass the proverbial baton to the next group of visionaries and to explore new opportunities and life adventures.”
Incoming President, Jamie Catania said, “I speak for all of my colleagues when I say that we are looking forward to this next chapter in the firm’s evolution, and setting the stage for continued strengthening of our forensic services. 30 Forensic Engineering is a true Canadian success story, and I am fortunate to work with dedicated and inspired people who integrate independence and professionalism into everything we do both nationally and internationally. While we are excited about the future, we recognize that we owe a debt of gratitude to Chris for building the firm into what it is today. Much more than a founder, Chris has been a visionary, leader, and friend, and we wish him the best in his next pursuit.”
