30 Forensic Engineering Recognizes International Women’s Day 2021 – Choose To Challenge

TORONTO, ON, MAR. 8, 2021 /insPRESS/ – International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Also, the day is about unity, reflection, advocacy and a call to action for accelerating gender parity. International Women’s Day (IWD) has occurred for well over a century, with the first gathering in 1911 and today IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere.

Stephanie d’Obrenan, Director – Human Resources at 30 Forensic Engineering states: “The fact that we have not yet achieved absolute equality is somewhat astounding but does speak to the work that must occur to move a mountain. I am incredibly proud of the women that reside within both my professional and social circles who are undoubtedly rising to be the leaders of our future. On a personal note, I continue to be inspired by women role models who have taken to social media and podcasts etc. who deliver messages of empowerment and equality – Cathy Heller, Elena Brower, Allyson Byrd, Brene Brown to name a few. My advice to the next generation of women/women who identify as women is that being feminine and being powerful are not mutually exclusive. They can coexist. But also, that you don’t need to be feminine to be a ‘woman’ or to be powerful. Your power comes from being you- whatever that looks and feels like.”
